About the Role
In this role, you will manage lending opportunities across residential, investment and refinance lending, while also identifying broader finance opportunities where appropriate. You will play a key role in delivering tailored lending solutions, maintaining strong referral relationships, and driving pipeline growth through strong conversion and client management.
This is a senior position requiring maturity, credibility, strong lending knowledge, and the ability to perform with confidence in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage lending deals from initial enquiry through to settlement
* Structure complex residential, investment and refinance lending scenarios
* Work strategically across lenders to achieve strong client outcomes
* Build and maintain referral relationships that generate quality opportunities
* Deliver exceptional service and communication throughout the client journey
* Identify opportunities for broader lending solutions where relevant
* Manage pipeline activity with urgency, accuracy and follow-through
* Provide clear, commercially sound lending advice to a diverse client base
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 10 years' experience in mortgage broking
* Proven success in writing and settling residential lending
* Strong knowledge of lender policy, servicing, and credit structuring
* Experience managing complex lending scenarios, including self-employed and investment clients
* Strong commercial judgement and strategic thinking
* Excellent relationship management and communication skills
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active deals
* A proactive, high-performance mindset with strong personal accountability
* Certificate IV in Finance/Mortgage Broking and Australian Credit License (ACL) required
* Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
