We're seeking a commercially savvy finance leader to join as a Dealership Accountant/Financial controller within an ASX-listed organisation during an exciting growth phase.

About the role:
In this role you will drive business success by turning complex sales, margin, and inventory data into clear financial insight that improves profitability, cash flow, and smarter decision-making across the dealership.
Your duties will include, but aren't limited to:
* Overseeing financial operations across 10 dealerships in the Macarthur region
* Leading a small dealership finance team and ensuring strong financial controls
* Delivering accurate monthly reporting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance
* Partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making
About You:
This role suits a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys partnering with operational leaders to drive performance and accountability.
The successful candidate will bring:
* Proven experience leading a small team in a high-volume business
* Sound knowledge of Dealer Management Systems, Pentana considered favourably
* Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor/develop others
* A passion for improving processes, performance, and commercial outcomes
* Automotive experience is welcome but absolutely not essential—we're more interested in your commercial thinking, curiosity, and willingness to learn
* Post university qualifications such as CPA, CA or MBA considered favourably
