**The Opportunity**
This role is responsible for the strategic direction of analytics and reporting across our Sales (SAP) and Activity (Veeva) platforms. The role includes key business partnering capabilities and driving and challenging our Sales and Marketing teams with actionable insights. This includes facilitating deep dive reviews and ad hoc projects into key business issues requiring analysis and recommendations on how to solve these business challenges.
Define business priorities, possibilities and problems using data to provide insight into the current and future state of the Business Unit, managing data integrity and systems to collect, analyse, depict, report and predict.
The role will also largely involve optimisation of our Veeva system; including finding efficiencies with how our teams input their data and how the overall business should be reporting on this. Involvement with our global teams and management of offshore data administration teams is essential.\
Involved in planning, evaluating and managing all business and technical issues for Allergan's ANZ CRM systems, utilising the Data analyst where necessary. Supports the Data analyst with ANZ field force team that require maintenance, configuration, and reporting. Interacts with sales, (marketing,) IS, customer service and other departments as needed to gather/define requirements, pilot, implement, and review ongoing performance.
Able to interact with various levels of management to present analysis on activity, territory structure, CRM metrics and use the insights gained to present recommendations for optimizing of field force to develop and improve performance
**What you'll be doing**
- Leading business partnering with Sales and Marketing teams, driving actionable insights using Sales and Activity data
- Challenging the business and providing recommendations to key business issues; address specific business issues involving CRM and sales operations
- Identify CRM usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy
- Analyse and develop appropriate territory structures, based on the needs of the business units, working with Business Unit Analyst
- Providing analytical support to the Business Unit utilizing various internal data sources and external data sources, developing dashboards or reports as required
- Identification of new and emerging trends in data management, AI, and Machine learning and how these capabilities can be applied to the business.
- Master database management support for sales dashboard solutions and performance tracking.
- Business unit review presentations that are informative, concise, commercially focused, and relevant to the key business issue being addressed
- Performing analysis to determine the effectiveness of advertising programs, pricing adjustments and competitor efforts
- Performing analysis to evaluate the compliance level to corporate agreements and contracts
- Incorporating machine learning and robotic process automation
- Designing motivating Sales Incentive Plan's (SIP), including calculations of targets and SIP payments for the Facial Aesthetics Business Unit on a quarterly and annual basis
- Gathering and analyzing relevant competitor data (where applicable), both company and product-related
- Effectively prioritizing tasks and projects to deliver quality solutions to the highest priority business issue
- Ensuring all business activities comply with relevant legal requirements and ethical standards
- Involvement in key projects and initiatives as required
**Experience that will help you get started**
- Experience in either a commercially focused role or in a finance support capacity, preferably healthcare experience and demonstrated experience in the following key areas:
o System Analyst
o Data Management
o Business Analysis and Reporting
o Project management
o Data Science
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to translate customer requirements into specifications and convert data and information into intelligence
- Solid understanding of financial reports/budgets/sales forecasts/customer buying trends/pricing and promotion
- High level of attention to detail and numeracy accuracy
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, Access, and Powerpoint.
- Experience developing and working with self-service analytic software such as Power BI and Tableau
- SAP knowledge is advantageous, particularly Business Objects/Explorer (administration, report writing, universe build and maintenance)
- Robust communication, listening and presentation skills.
