About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a key AI-focused project within a government environment.
This part-time contract requires someone who can quickly step in, bring structure, and confidently manage delivery in a complex and evolving landscape.
You will play a critical role stabilising the programme, guiding delivery teams and ensuring clear communication and alignment across business, technical and vendor stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee delivery of an AI-driven project within a government setting
Maintain project governance, schedules, milestones and progress reporting
Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change processes
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure cohesive delivery
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate changing priorities
Skills & Experience
Proven background as a Senior Project Manager
Strongly preferred: Experience delivering AI / Machine Learning initiatives
Strongly preferred: Experience delivering government projects
Strong stakeholder engagement, initiative and problem-solving skills
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable managing ambiguity
Able to attend on-site in Adelaide as required
