About the Role
As our Applications Development and Architecture Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the development and integration of enterprise applications. You'll provide technical leadership and set strategic direction to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and future‐ready.
You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to define architectural standards and best practices, while driving operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands‐on technical leadership in application development and support
* Define and lead the strategic vision for DFC's application architecture
* Design secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that align with business needs
* Collaborate across departments to gather and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
* Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation
* Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
* Coach and mentor internal teams to embed architectural best practices
What You Bring
* 5+ years in software development with strong application architecture experience
* Proficiency across development stacks such as Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, MS PowerApps, React, etc.
* Expertise in microservices, API management, integration frameworks, and cloud platforms
* Experience leading enterprise‐scale development projects and modernisation efforts
* Extensive hands‐on experience with MuleSoft, including designing, developing, and managing integrations
* Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD methodologies
* Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models and cloud-native architecture
* Excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Advanced certifications preferred (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect)
* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
