The role
Love working with primary school aged kids? Join our team as an educator in Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) on a permanent part‐time basis in Carnegie.
The role
Guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours per week. After School Care: 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the health, safety, and well‐being of the children in our care
- Assist in planning and preparing exciting and innovative activities that enrich children's lives
- Cultivate a welcoming and nurturing environment
- Play and have fun with primary school aged children
- Prepare nutritious food and maintain a clean environment

About you
- Ideally has previous experience in before/after school care or education, but this is not essential – we can help you grow your skills
- Passionate about working with children and seeing them thrive
- Involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
- Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues
Qualifications
- Working with Children Check relevant to your state (WWCC, WWVP, Blue Card, VIT)
- Certificate III or Diploma in an ACECQA‐approved course (or working towards it). Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications.
- Background checks, reference checks and screening to ensure a commitment to safeguarding children
