Responsibilities
Interpret engineering specifications and client requirements to produce accurate and detailed drawings for steel and metal fabrication
Utilise software to design custom metal components, structures and products
Review, refine, and update drawings to ensure compliance with safety, quality and industry standards
Collaborate closely with the production team to support seamless project execution
Maintain clear and organised documentation of all drafting work
Identify opportunities for design or process improvements and contribute innovative ideas
What We're Looking For
Formal qualifications in Engineering Drafting or a related technical discipline
Strong experience using software for steel or metal fabrication design
Solid understanding of engineering principles, fabrication processes, and quality standards
High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical documentation
A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
