Paradise Resort Gold Coast is currently looking for Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping Team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring all rooms are spotlessly cleaned and maintained. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the successful person will be adaptable and open to working in different areas of the Housekeeping department.
The successful applicants will possess the ability to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Cleaning and servicing guest rooms, hallways and public areas
* Servicing guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures
* Replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies
* Follow through with guest requests
* Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly, and storeroom and trolleys are kept neat working order
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to follow clear instructions and work in a team or on their own
* Good communication skills
* Comfortable interacting with guests to enhance their experience
* Flexibility with hours; able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, weekends and Public Holidays.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience in housekeeping
* Strong understanding of manual handling and safe work practices
* Experience working with Optii (Housekeeping software) (desirable)
