Responsibilities
* Provides technical leadership, raises the technical bar, maintains data and results-driven culture, nurtures a team culture of collaboration and trust.
* Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements, develop design documents, and drive project and release plans.
* Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to enhance performance, maintainability, and reliability of services and components.
* Participates in Livesite operations, focusing on timely response, delivery, and customer satisfaction. Builds automation to identify, prevent, and remediate service issues.
* Supports key projects, including designing and building license management software from design to testing and integration.
* Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to latest trends, technical solutions, and patterns to improve product availability, reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
* Shares knowledge through code and design reviews and provides mentoring to colleagues.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with languages such as Go, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
* At least 5+ years of hands-on software design and programming in Go, Java, C++, C#, or object-oriented programming.
* Experience in product development, particularly in designing and building license management software.
* Minimum 3+ years developing, deploying, monitoring, and shipping scalable cloud services.
* Minimum 3+ years experience with containers and Kubernetes (mandatory).
* Proficiency with our tech stack: Kubernetes, AKS, Go, C#, Linux, and .NET.
* Ability to mentor early-career engineers.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* 8+ years of technical engineering experience in relevant languages or a master’s degree plus 6+ years of experience.
* Engagement in site-reliability engineering practices.
* Ability to analyze and articulate complex issues and technologies clearly.
Other Requirements
* Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years.
