We are seeking a talented Technical Representative to join our team and provide support to the Industrial Processes Sales department.
This role is responsible for servicing and developing the existing customer base, as well as gaining new customers. Key responsibilities include:
1. Sales Solutions: Sell solutions and add value to the customer.
2. Relationship Building: Build relationships and manage relationships with customers and partners.
3. Customer Development: Develop the existing customer base and gain new customers.
4. Business Growth: Actively identify and partner with new customers to drive business growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Proven Sales Experience: Proven sales experience with the ability to manage customer and company expectations.
* Business Development: A proven history of business development in an industrial chemical or food industry setting.
* Problem-Solving: An aptitude for problem-solving with the ability to determine solutions for customers.
* Business Acumen: A strong sense of business acumen.
* Technical Background: A strong technical background.
* Flexibility: Flexibility to meet and exceed customer expectations.
* Time Management: The ability to prioritise and apply good time management skills.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills in assisting to close a contract.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should have previous experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, agriculture, or engineering fields related to food or agricultural industries. Tertiary qualifications in related areas are highly regarded but not essential.
