About the RoleReporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be performing high-quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings, welding codes, and company standards.
This role plays a critical part in the manufacture of metal components for a variety of engineering projects.The successful candidate will be based in Lara – responsibilitiesInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and welding symbolsPerform MIG, TIG, and Stick (ARC) welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminiumFabricate components using cutting, shaping, and assembly techniquesWeld in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsUse and maintain tools including grinders, cutters, and torchesInspect welds for quality and compliance (AS/NZS 1554 & AS 1210)Set up and maintain welding equipment based on job requirementsConduct routine equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenanceAbout YouCertificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent trade qualificationProficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniquesAble to accurately interpret technical drawings and specificationsCommitted to safety practices and attention to detailReliable, with the ability to follow instructions and work independentlyPhysically fit and capable of handling workshop conditionsWilling to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screeningHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and cover letter to (emailprotected) with Welder in the subject line.Company overviewAir Radiators is a world-class business committed to the design and manufacture of cutting-edge heat transfer and air movement solutions in partnership with our customers.
