About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated part-time Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at the renowned Unicorn Broadbeach Seafood Restaurant in Broadbeach, Queensland. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant, delivering an exceptional dining experience to our valued customers.
What you\'ll be doing
- Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any customer queries or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting the head chef with menu planning, food preparation, and quality control
- Implementing and enforcing all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and providing guidance and support to the restaurant staff
What we\'re looking for
- Extensive experience (3+ years) in a similar restaurant supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Section waiter requirement
- Be able to carry 3 plates
- Be able to manage a section of up to 25 pax
- Good food and wine knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
