As the escalation point for the service desk team, you'll manage a mix of business as usual (BAU) infrastructure tasks and project related work. You'll be pivotal in maintaining a majority Windows environment and a small Linux environment. You will be supporting VMware and Citrix systems, and contributing to critical projects involving Cisco UCS, Pure Flash storage, and general network management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Elevate Security Culture: Manage engaging security awareness training and phishing simulations for over 2,000 employees, ensuring they stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
- Take ownership of the company's VMware environment—experience managing VMware is a must have.
- Ensure smooth operation and security of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
- Next-Generation Antivirus Management: Solid understanding of corporate next-gen antivirus solutions like CrowdStrike, ensuring strong endpoint protection across the organisation.
- O365 & Hybrid Exchange Support: Provide mid-level support for O365 and Exchange environments, troubleshooting mail flow and ensuring uptime.
- Proactive Project Work: Assist the BAU team by leading critical infrastructure projects, anticipating issues, and resolving them efficiently.
Key Skills & Experience:
- VMware Expertise: Hands on experience managing VMware environments is essential.
- Security-Focused: Experience managing security awareness programs and securing enterprise systems.
- Experiencing administering / managing next-gen anti-virus solutions such as Crowdstrike, SentinelOne or Palo Alto Cortex.
- Citrix VDI Experience: Practical experience managing Citrix environments.
- Backup Solutions Knowledge is essential. Rubrik or Veeam experience preferred.
- Active Directory - hands on experience diagnosing and resolving issues related to AD replication and authentication etc.
- Demonstrated networking knowledge, including but not limited to: VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP services
- On Premise Infrastructure Focus: Primarily responsible for managing on premise systems, with knowledge of Azure/Encarta/AWS or other cloud technologies seen as beneficial but definitely not mandatory.
