About The RoleThe LAND 4140 BMS Data Manager supports the BMS (Critical C2 and Tactical) projects by establishing, maintaining and governing complex data, document and information management systems across Defence and industry partners. This is a senior data and information management role within a complex Defence acquisition environment.
Key Details
* Location: ACT (Some Flexibility)
* Contract Role: $1200/day
* Clearance: NV1
Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop and manage data governance frameworks for project and contract data
* Maintain and administer Defence information systems including Objective, SharePoint, DOORS and Teams
* Establish document workflows, version control and approval processes
* Support Below-the-Line contract data management requirements
* Monitor and improve performance of information systems and workflows
* Provide training and technical support to project staff on data systems
* Ensure compliance with Defence QMS and ISO 9001:2015
* Support governance forums, reporting and Project Performance Review inputs
* Support procurement activities including documentation reviews and evaluations
* Provide data management advice across engineering, ILS, security and commercial stream
Essential Experience
* 8+ years project experience, including 5+ years in data management roles
* Demonstrated experience on complex Defence or comparable technical programs
* Strong experience with Defence information systems (Objective, SharePoint, DOORS)
* Knowledge of Defence QMS and ISO 9001
* NV1 security clearance
Highly Desirable
* CASG project experience
* Understanding of Defence capability lifecycle and acquisition processes
* Project management qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
* Experience supporting Defence ICT or tactical communications programs
