Head Medical is working with the Tasmanian Health Service to recruit an ICU Registrar / Senior Doctor based at Northwest Regional Hospital, offering exposure to high‐acuity critical care within a structured and supportive environment.

The Role
North West Regional Hospital is a 160‐bed accredited acute care facility, recognised for both clinical care and teaching, with links to the University of Tasmania.
Based within an 8‐bed Intensive Care Unit, you will play a key role in the management of critically unwell patients as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
You will:
* Participate in the day‐to‐day management of ICU patients
* Gain exposure to advanced critical care interventions including:
o Mechanical ventilation
o Continuous renal replacement therapy
o Haemodynamic monitoring
o Ultrasound‐guided procedures
o Bronchoscopy
* Work under the guidance and support of experienced Intensive Care Specialists
* Contribute to a structured teaching and learning programme
* Participate in an on‐call and shift‐based roster
Eligibility
* Eligible for registration with AHPRA via the Competent Authority pathway
* Experience at Registrar level (or equivalent), ideally in ICU / Anaesthetics / Acute Medicine
* Driver's licence desirable
