Job Summary

Court Services Victoria provides corporate support and facilities to enable the efficient operation of Victoria's courts and tribunals.


About the Role

Administrative professionals in this field perform a variety of tasks, including court duties, coordination, user inquiries, file management, online hearings, and back-office responsibilities.

* As an administrative professional, perform various functions relating to day-to-day court operations.
* Provide information and expert guidance on court procedures and practices.
* Liaise with judiciary members, external organizations, and individuals that interact with the court.
* Operate relevant computer systems, including case-management software.
* Assist with staff direction, supervision, and training.



Key Responsibilities

Administrative Functions:

* Perform legal, administrative, and quasi-judicial tasks related to court operations.
* Coordinate court proceedings and manage court files.

Communication and Liaison:

* Respond to user inquiries and provide authoritative advice on court procedures.
* Liaise with judiciary members, external organizations, and individuals that interface with the court.

Technical Skills:

* Operate relevant computer systems, including case-management software.

People Management:

* Assist with staff direction, supervision, and training.
