Job Description
The Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) is the statutory authority responsible for regulating the teaching profession across the state. The primary responsibility of TRB SA is the welfare of children and young people.
Responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day functions and activities of the Board in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Providing expert advice on governance, policy, and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the organisation.
* Leading and managing a high-functioning team to meet the organisation's responsibilities.
* Working closely with various stakeholders, including government and non-government organisations, and local and national industry and professional bodies.
Qualifications/Skills
This position requires an accomplished generalist with relevant experience in a regulatory environment. Drive, energy, resilience, and genuine people leadership and stakeholder management capabilities are critical personal qualities sought.
High-level written and oral communication skills, sound judgement, and superior influencing and collaboration abilities are also essential for success in this role.
