About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Structural/Mechanical Modeller to join our Perth-based team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the mining, heavy industrial, or petrochemical sectors and be proficient in using Advanced Steel, Navisworks, Revit,Autodesk Recap and Scan to BIM technology. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality models and support project design and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop accurate and detailed 3D models for structural and mechanical components using Advanced Steel, Navisworks, Revit, Autodesk Recap and Scan to BIM.
* Collaborate with engineers and designers across disciplines to ensure coordination and consistency of models and drawings.
* Prepare fabrication and general arrangement drawings based on project requirements.
* Review and integrate design information from multiple disciplines to maintain data integrity.
* Conduct model reviews, clash detections, and resolve interface issues.
* Maintain drawing and model quality in accordance with project standards and company procedures.
* Support design changes and provide timely updates during project execution.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in structural and mechanical modeling.
* Proven experience in mining, heavy industrial, or petrochemical projects.
* Proficiency in Advanced Steel, Navisworks, Revit,Autodesk Recap and Scan to BIM.
* Strong understanding of cross-discipline coordination and interfacing.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and meet project deadlines.
