Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership Governance:
* Effective governance of a respected Christian organisation.
* Strategic Planning:
* Involvement in formulating strategic directions and the approval of strategic plans.
* Performance Management:
* Recruitment and managing performance of senior executives.
* Review and Approval:
* Reviewing, approving, and monitoring key organisational documents.
* Policy Development:
* Contributing to the development of Board and organisational policies.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Supporting stakeholder engagement and networking on behalf of the organisation.
Requirements:
* Time Commitment:
* Attend approximately 11 Board meetings and other special meetings as required.
* Continuous Learning:
* Participate in relevant learning and development opportunities.
* Travel and Communication:
* Some travel may be anticipated, with regular communication required for management, financial reporting, and general compliance issues.
