Procurement and Contracts Officer
The position is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex research, analysis and advice work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position as it provides procurement advice.
We are seeking an experienced Procurements and Contracts Officer to join our team in a Geelong based national disability support organisation.
This is a fixed term hourly rate contract paying $55.24 + Super, with 37.5 hours worked weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
* Providing procurement advice and support to the broader organisation.
* Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Guidelines and organisational Procurement Policy and procedures.
* Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs
* Preparing a range of procurement related documentation.
* Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate reporting.
* Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements.
Requirements:
* Previous Procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department
* Demonstrated ability to deliver support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules
* SAP experience
* Australian citizenship
