Overview
Keep our production environment operating at its best in this hands-on, fast-paced role. We're seeking a proactive Mechanical Maintenance Technician who enjoys problem-solving, working with industrial equipment, and contributing to a reliable and efficient operation.
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting overall equipment performance and operational reliability across the facility. Working closely with production and maintenance teams, you'll help ensure systems run efficiently while contributing to a safe, collaborative, and high-performing workplace.
What You'll Be Doing
* Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure reliable operation
* Troubleshooting mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and technical documentation
* Working within a rotating roster to support production targets and minimise downtime
* Maintaining a safe, clean workspace while following safety protocols including LOTO and hazard assessments
* Collaborating with supervisors and supporting apprentice technicians to maintain efficient operations
What We're Looking For
* Relevant mechanical trade qualification with experience maintaining industrial machinery and converting equipment
* Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and servo drives (highly regarded)
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues under tight deadlines
* Strong organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills to work effectively with teams and train apprentices
* High attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to safety, compliance, and integrity
