Workshop Operations Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to fill a key leadership position within our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership and Management: Oversee a team of diesel mechanics, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Maintenance Scheduling: Collaborate with the team to plan and schedule maintenance for trucks and equipment.
* Equipment Procurement: Manage all equipment orders, including procurement and liaison with suppliers.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
Requirements
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in truck or plant equipment, preferably in both roles.
* Certifications: Hold Cert 3 in automotive diesel engine technology, white card certification, asbestos certification, and silica certification.
* Skills: Possess basic IT skills, excellent customer service skills, strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, prioritization skills, time management skills, and adaptability.
