About the Role
The primary purpose of the Manager, Industry and Commercial Operations position is to support TRI's growth by driving industry engagement, business development and sales, and tenancy management across both TRI and ENTRI.
The Manager will support tenants throughout their tenancy, and ensure effective management of TRI's industry spaces and tenancy frameworks. The role works collaboratively to develop and implement strategies that supports sales and business development, expand industry engagement and partnerships, enhance tenant satisfaction, and identify new market opportunities.
This role is offered on a Permanent basis. It is Full-time, 38 hours per week.
Key Selection Criteria
Experience
* 5+ years industry experience in sales, business development or other commercial roles such as business management or project management, preferably within a CDMO or related organisation.
* General understanding of drug development, cGMP and manufacturing operations, preferably in biologics, mRNA, or cell therapies.
* Ability to manage long sales cycles, pipeline management and adapt strategies based on client feedback and market changes.
* Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM with transferable skills to Salesforce would be preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Strong networking, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities across diverse stakeholder groups.
* Excellent strategic, analytical, and commercial acumen, with the ability to align industry engagement activities to organisational goals.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to write clear, concise proposals, reports, and correspondence.
* High attention to detail with strong organisational, financial, and project management capabilities.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
* Collaborative and proactive approach with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a biomedical, biotechnology or related field is essential. Advanced business or science degree would be preferred but not required.
