About the Role
As part of the Bendigo Bank Agribusiness division, our Direct team is a quick‑paced centre of excellence focused on providing expertise and support to a wide range of agribusiness clients. The Agribusiness Direct Manager delivers exceptional customer service and product support, understanding our customers’ changing needs and providing relevant sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the retention and growth of our national portfolio of customers.
- Interact with customers virtually via phone or email to ensure micro‑agribusiness customers (TAE up to $750k) receive the right solutions.
- Explore leads for new business opportunities and maintain exemplary customer service delivery for the existing portfolio.
- Develop and deliver win‑win financial and lending solutions that meet customers’ needs, objectives and the Bank’s growth target and risk appetite.
What You’ll Bring
- Understanding of agribusiness banking and markets, with lending capability and sales success.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including analysis and interpretation of financial statements; experience in credit analysis and agribusiness lending is ideal.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Support the Service Associate team by providing quality feedback, coaching and mentoring.
- Tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline.
