We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health, this state-of-the-art facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.
THE POSITION
- Monitor hospital security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems, to ensure safety.
- Respond to incidents and alarms promptly, coordinating with security staff and hospital teams.
- Maintain logs of security activities, incidents, and system checks for record-keeping.
- Ensure the proper functioning of security equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Assist with emergency response efforts, providing critical information to security teams and management.
THE PERSON
- Must have or is able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
- Certificate II in Security Operations mandatory (CPP20218).
- Victorian Private Security Individual Licence mandatory).
- Certificate IV in Security Management (CPP40719) would be advantageous.
- Requirement for First Aid/CPR certificates and Working With Children Checks
- Familiarity with CCTV and security monitoring equipment.
- Understanding of standard operating procedures for security and emergency response.
