We are partnering with a well-regarded independent college in Sydney to recruit an experienced and dependable Maintenance Manager/ Handyperson. This is a hands‐on role within a collaborative property team, focused on maintaining high standards across the campus.
The role is ideal for someone practical, proactive, and comfortable working both autonomously and in a team environment. You'll be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring the site remains safe, functional and well‐presented.
Key responsibilities:
* General maintenance and repair work across buildings and equipment
* Event and classroom set‐ups, including moving furniture and line‐marking fields
* Identifying hazards and carrying out or reporting necessary repairs
* Managing deliveries and assisting with security access to the site
* Supporting emergency procedures including drills and evacuations
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally in a school or multi‐building environment
* Good knowledge of WHS practices and safe manual handling
* Strong work ethic with a positive, can‐do attitude
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
