Allied Health Assistant Full Time up to 80 hours per fortnight Classification: IN29 Hourly rate: $******* (with an ADO) - $***** plus 12% Superannuation About the role The Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Department is offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic, Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our team.
In this role, your duties will include, but are not limited to, collecting and preparing equipment, assisting the Allied Health Professionals, participating actively as a member of a multi-disciplinary health care team to achieve optimum treatment outcomes for patients and participate in relevant meetings, seminars and conferences.
The successful applicant will work autonomously when required within the pre-determined parameters of the patient's care plan designed by either the Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist.
The AHA will demonstrate a capacity to work flexibly across a broad range of therapeutic program related activities and be able to identify client circumstances that need additional input from the AHA and complete a range of administrative tasks as required by the team.
You will be able to prioritise work and accept responsibility for outcomes within the limits of employment accountability.
