We're seeking a Research & Market Intelligence Analyst to join our Milwaukee‐based team and support data‐driven business decisions across the organization. In this role, you'll apply a strong understanding of forecasting techniques, financial reporting, commercial performance metrics, and economic indicators to analyse market dynamics and inform strategic planning.
You'll synthesize insights from internal performance data, government statistics and regulatory datasets, census information, and industry research, translating complex analyses into clear narratives and recommendations for executive and senior stakeholder audiences. Your work will play a key role in informing market planning, investment decisions, and long‐term growth strategy.
What your day‐today look like:
* Build, maintain, and refine forecasting models to support business planning by validating assumptions, reconciling data sources, and clearly documenting methodologies.
* Conduct market sizing analyses (TAM, SAM, SOM) to quantify market opportunities to support strategic and commercial decisions by integrating internal performance data with external market, economic, and regulatory datasets.
* Source, interpret, and analyse government and regulatory data across Australia and New Zealand, including datasets from ABS, Stats NZ, and ASIC, to support forecasting, market sizing, and strategic analysis.
* Explore the use of AI‐enabled approaches to support forecasting, scenario analysis, pattern identification and large‐scale synthesis, whilst clearly documenting assumptions and limitations.
* Develop, maintain, and integrate analytical databases into Qlik Sense dashboards using SQL for data extraction and transformation and Python for data preparation, ensuring accurate data models, reliable refresh processes, and reporting.
* Identify opportunities to use AI tools to automate or streamline repetitive analysis, data preparation and reporting tasks, improving speed, consistency and insight turnaround.
What you will bring to the role:
* Working knowledge of Python/ SQL and hands on experience designing, developing, and maintaining analytical databases and dashboards to support reporting and forecasting.
* Solid understanding of forecasting techniques and experience interpreting financial reports, commercial metrics, and economic indicators.
* Interest in and experience with applying AI tools to research, analytics or insight generation, with an ability to critically assess and validate AI generated outputs.
* A highly organized self‐starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Ability to think laterally to help identify alternate options and develop innovative solutions.
