This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, ICT asset lifecycle knowledge, and experience working across procurement, vendors, and internal IT teams.
This is an urgent backfill for 4 weeks, whilst our client look to permanently fill this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate and liaise with multiple sites to conduct asset stocktakes and maintain a centralised asset register
* Manage and update ICT asset records, including tagging and register updates
* Identify end-of-life assets and follow established procedures for disposal and eWaste
* Relocate unused assets to central locations for re-issue, BIOS updates, or disposal
* Move packaging and materials to appropriate waste disposal bins
* Assist with purchasing replacement ICT assets as required
* Support ICT asset lifecycle activities including acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning
* Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and delivery
* Prepare asset reports and maintain compliance with ICT policies and procedures
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in ICT asset management and inventory control, including stocktaking across multiple sites
* Proven ability to maintain accurate asset registers and lifecycle records
* Experience identifying end-of-life assets and managing eWaste disposal processes
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Ability to relocate and manage physical ICT assets for re-issue or disposal
* Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing
* Experience using asset management systems or tools
Qualifications (Preferred)
* Tertiary qualification in IT, Business Administration, or related field
* ITIL certification
* Public sector or enterprise environment experience (desirable)
