About the Position
As a Lecturer – Early Childhood, you will deliver training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality
Authority (ASQA) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework and delivering
accredited training in Early Childhood. This may include curriculum development, development of high-quality learning resources and activities and support ASQA compliance and registration for the Team in preparation to audit. The role contributes to growing the teaching business and anticipates and
responds to industry training requirements.
Located in the vibrant township of Alice Springs, you will facilitate competency-based training using a range of delivery modes including face-to face, mixed-mode & workplace based. About You
To be successful, you will require:
- A recognised relevant qualification equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor) and the ability to obtain competencies in additional core units as required
- Demonstrated experience providing training either within a workplace setting or educational institution
- Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet needs of students and/or industry clients
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team
- Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and NT Working with Children clearance. It is a requirement of the position for the occupier to hold a current driver’s licence and have the ability to travel to regional and remote locations

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $76,604 - $114,924 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $89,626 - $134,461 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
