We are seeking a highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our busy and supportive Gastroenterology clinic in Maroochydore. This is a permanent part-time position (32 hours per week) suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask efficiently over extended periods while maintaining a calm and welcoming manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
* Managing appointment bookings and procedure scheduling
* Handling high-volume phone enquiries
* Processing billing, receipting, and Medicare claims
* Coordinating patient documentation and referrals
* Procedure bookings
* Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks
* Maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
