As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming customers to St George and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – in person and over the phone – and refer them to our specialised Banking teams when necessary.
This is a rewarding role that will see your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money, every day.
This is a full-time, branch-based role with hours across and inclusive of Monday to Friday.ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers, engage in conversations to understand needs, and provide tailored banking solutions.Utilise product knowledge to assist customers and refer to specialised Banking teams when necessary.Support customers in achieving financial goals both in person and over the phone.Act as the first point of contact in the branch network and contribute to a positive customer experience.What do I need?
Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing or phone-based role with experience of working to targetsResilience with the ability to remain calm in challenging situationsComfortable working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phoneNumerical capability, proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions accuratelyAn energetic personality with a genuine passion for helping peopleWillingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologiesNo banking experience?
