About the role
As a valued member of our Livestock & Yards team, you'll be at the heart of day‐to‐day operations, supporting the care and management of livestock and helping keep our farm and yards running smoothly. This full‐time role offers varied, hands‐on work, combining animal welfare with the upkeep of facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient and well‐maintained working environment.
What you'll be doing
* Assist with the feeding, watering, and general care of livestock on the farm
* Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, mowers, and fencing tools
* Perform yard work, such as cleaning pens and maintaining fences and gates
* Help with the loading and unloading of livestock
What we're looking for
* Prior experience in a similar farm labourer or livestock handling role
* Proficiency in operating farm machinery and equipment
* Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
