An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading built environment consultancy delivering cost management and commercial services across a diverse range of projects. Key Responsibilities
* Provide cost planning, estimating, and budgeting services throughout the project lifecycle
* Prepare tender documentation, bills of quantities, and procurement strategies
* Evaluate tenders, prepare tender reports, and assist with contractor selection
* Manage project costs, valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Monitor financial performance and provide regular cost reports to clients
* Support contract administration and commercial risk management
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
Key Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
* Relevant experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
* Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract
* Competent in cost management software and Microsoft Office
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Desirable
* Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards professional accreditation
* Experience across a variety of sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, or infrastructure
* Understanding of sustainability and value engineering principles
