Role
We are inviting applications from Casual Relief Teachers with a focus or specialisation in Physical Education.
The Casual Relief Teacher at St Andrews Christian College plays a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students.
They are responsible for providing effective teaching and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to ensure continuity of learning for students
Implementing effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Adhering to the school's policies and procedures while promoting the Christian ethos and values
Establishing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the overall educational experience
Adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs
Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the school community
Providing feedback on student progress and behavior to support ongoing assessment and reporting processes
