Job Description
Position involves working on a production line hand sorting materials from a slow moving conveyor belt. Each person will be allocated a material for their shift i.e timber, steel etc. Items removed from the belt are dropped down a shute located next to each individual workstation.
The management team is very supportive and open to accommodating for barriers, in partnership with PPS team. Suitable candidates will need to be able to stand for up to 6 hours per day, sorting materials, have reasonable to good fitness levels, able to understand and interpret instructions, fill in documentation and communicate with staff. Up to 20 hours per week per PPT available but super flexible to work in with peoples availability and capabilities.
Hours can be across various shifts and days to accommodate for availability. People with disabilities are permitted to take a support worker along for the shift where required. Own transport preferred but not essential.
Work will take place in a shed at Paget. Reliability is essential and management are looking to build a solid team that can grow together.
Responsibilities
