Key Responsibilities
We have an excellent opportunity for Senior Mechanical Engineers to assume key engineering roles.
* Prepare detailed technical specifications, reports, calculations, layouts, production drawings and cost estimates.
* Develop reference designs for new mechanical systems and ensure their integration into rolling stock.
* Evaluate the operation and compliance of these systems.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
* Review supplier designs and collaborate with them to ensure products meet specification requirements.
* Liaise with production engineers and production personnel involved in product manufacturing.
* Optimise designs to reduce overall costs and assess product pricing against project budgets during the design process.
* Analyse and correct failures and design deficiencies in existing rolling stock.
* Provide technical guidance to product service and support personnel.
