The National Library of Australia is seeking a Program Manager, Curatorial and Collection Research to join its dynamic team. This role plays a key part in proactively collecting contemporary Australian life through commissioned oral histories, photography, and web archiving.
As Program Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver on the National Library's Collecting Strategy, managing oral history and photographic commissioning projects, leading staff in selecting websites for inclusion to the Australian Web Archive, and promoting the Library's commissioned collections.
You will have excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills, as well as experience in managing teams. Acquiring digital material for a collecting institution is a plus.
About the Role
* This is a non-ongoing opportunity from 1 August 2025 to 23 June 2026, available to ongoing National Library of Australia and APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (acting) opportunity.
