About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is a perfect opportunity for a graduate accountant looking to begin their CA/CPA or is already working towards. The position is a full-time permanent on-site role based at our Hope Valley office (WA).
This opportunity will assist you in developing your career as a financial accountant with the goal of becoming a fully qualified CA/CPA with full admission membership.
* Maintaining Fixed Asset register
* Preparation of Monthly BAS
* Journal entries
* Accrual management
* Review and maintenance of Balance sheet accounts
* Assistance with Monthly management and Quarterly reporting
* Assistance with statutory reporting
* Assistance with tax compliance
* Processing end of month reconciliations
* Assistance with other projects, and ad-hoc tasks, as and when required
Skills & Experience
* 0-1 years prior tax/audit experience looking to transition to a commercial environment; or 0-1 years commercial experience.
* Looking to undertake or work towards completing their CA/CPA.
* SAP experience (advantageous but not essential).
* Capacity to work under tight deadlines and multitask.
* Demonstrated experience working in a team.
* Sound Excel skills (intermediate).
