What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be the go-to consultant for complex environmental and hazardous materials projects. Your day-to-day will include:
* Contaminated land
: Site investigations, remediation, and risk assessments.
* Hazardous materials
: Asbestos surveys, management plans, monitoring, and clearance inspections.
* On-site leadership
: Supervising asbestos removal and remediation works.
* Reporting & advice
: Preparing technical reports, scopes of work, and expert recommendations.
* Client engagement
: Managing relationships and ensuring projects run to scope, timeline, and budget.
* Growth focus
: Contributing to business development and mentoring junior consultants.
What You'll Bring
* Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or related field.
* A current
Asbestos Assessor's Licence (NSW)
* 3–5+ years' consulting experience in environmental or hazardous materials.
* Solid knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
* Strong communication skills for clients, reports, and team collaboration.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, business development, and team support.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
