Business Analyst – Guidewire Integration This initiative will achieve the integration of IAG's new policy platform, Guidewire, into our clients systems.
Guidewire will replace the current Huon platform and will be a vehicle to drive efficiency, improved member experience (including our digital experience ambition) and enable new insurance product offerings.
The Business Analyst will support the successful planning of a major transformation program across our clients Insurance portfolio: Motor, Home and Niche products.
6 Month Contingent Hybrid Work Arrangements 3 days in office days What you'll need to be successful 5+ years' work experience, a tertiary degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field is essential Experience in leading requirements scoping, workshops, planning, impact assessment, analysis and documentation of business processes, requirements prioritization and benefits identification in agile projects or squads Business Case preparation and planning Insurance work experience in working Motor and Home Insurance Ability to manage difficult stakeholders, whilst working at pace Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify those impacted by changes to processes, procedures, technology, and ways of working Undertake analysis, design, modelling and documentation of business processes and procedures for (as-is) current state and defining (to-be) future state Facilitate requirements elicitation and grooming, to meet business, technology and digital needs like UX/UI, usability, customer journey and experience Produce quality detailed business requirements, epics, user stories, prototypes/wireframes that are implemented and tested by technical teams Identify and document risks, constraints, assumptions, dependencies, and integration requirements for technical, data or process driven projects/initiative Experience in business process modelling using BPMN, or similar, requirements analysis techniques such as Unified Modelling Language (UML) Experience using Jira and Confluence, system integrations (APIs), data mapping Knowledge of tools such as Atlassian, Office 365, process modelling tools such as Visio or draw.io Exposure to different types of initiatives in a range of industries, from small enhancements, small to medium-sized initiatives and implementations in a regulated, service driven environment would be viewed favourably.
