Associate Director / State Lead - Quantity Surveying (Adelaide)
I am currently representing a highly respected national Quantity Surveying consultancy with an outstanding reputation across the Australian built environment sector.
Due to continued national growth, my client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute industry leader to establish and lead their expansion into the Adelaide market.
This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a business from the ground up, backed by the credibility, systems and national support of an established consultancy.
The Opportunity
My client does not yet have a physical presence in Adelaide. The successful candidate will initially operate remotely, with full support from interstate offices, with a clear objective of establishing a fully operational Adelaide office within the first three months.
This role will suit a senior-level Quantity Surveyor who is equally comfortable delivering technically complex projects and driving business development. You will be the face of the business in South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and grow the Adelaide office
* Lead business development efforts and generate work from day one
* Leverage your existing network to secure projects
* Deliver high-level cost planning and technical QS services
* Represent the business in the local market and build brand presence
* Work closely with interstate partners to integrate Adelaide into the national structure
About You
* Extensive experience within a consultancy Quantity Surveying environment
* Strong technical capability across cost planning, estimating and project delivery
* Proven business development capability with a track record of winning work
* An established and active network within the Adelaide built environment market
* Experience across built form sectors such as: Residential, Commercial, Education
* Leadership capability and the ambition to build a team
