The Speech Pathologist is a member of a multi-disciplinary team and works with children and young people with speech, language and/or communication needs and their families. The Speech Pathologist works closely with the Senior Speech Pathologists, speech pathology colleagues, preschool and school staff, and families to develop evidence-based speech, language and communication interventions.

Student Support Services are on a cultural responsive journey, as such we value and prioritise Aboriginal ways of knowing, doing and being.

Qualifications : Essential - An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership to Speech Pathology Australia. Desirable - Current Practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia with Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status.

Special conditions : The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed.

Remuneration : AHP1 $71,217 - $86,938 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%). AHP2 $91,785 - $106,330 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%).
