Tanker Driver
We are looking for an experienced HR Licensed LPG & CO2 Tanker / Cylinder Truck Driver available to operate out of our Darwin, NT branch. You will be responsible for deliveries to domestic and commercial sites across Metropolitan and Regional Darwin, as well as working within the operations site as required on a full‐time permanent basis (Monday to Friday).
Responsibilities
* Operate our 12‐tonne truck in compliance with BOC standards, regulations and policy.
* Complete daily and weekly inspections to ensure the vehicle is fit for service, clean and presentable, with all documentation and safety equipment up to date and in test.
* Timely delivery of paperwork and active cooperation with stakeholders.
* Cooperate with branch staff in servicing customers, completing work, showing flexibility in responding to demand and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
* Report compliance issues, OOD cylinders and conduct checks where required.
* Ensure all incidents are reported to the Branch Manager.
* Maintain safety awareness and abide by all regulations associated with the position.
* Liaise with customers in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
* Driving experience operating a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle with clear driving history.
* Dangerous Goods handling certificate.
* Experience in a retail sales environment is highly advantageous.
* Strong focus on customer service.
* Excellent time‐management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be beneficial.
* Forklift licence will be highly regarded.
