Locum Occupational Therapist - late January / early February
Late January / early February for 2-3 months + possible extension
Return flights covered and FREE accommodation
Community focus with some inpatients
Case Load
Community
Generalist with paediatric experience (higher paediatric caseload)
Paediatric assessment to support accessing NDIS early intervention (ADOS trained preferred)
Adult generalist (equipment, home modifications)
Aged care (equipment, home modifications, MyAged Care experience preferred)
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families (preferred)
Experience delivering specialist outreach services to remote communities (preferred)
Generalist with hand therapy experience
ED – Hands / head injury
Ward – subacute with 2 rehab beds (predominantly stroke, fractures)
Paediatrics ward – developmental assessments
Outpatients – hand therapy
Additional Information
You must be confident working with minimal support
Experience working with Aboriginal clients preferred
85% of the caseload is Indigenous, with 50% coming from remote communities
Enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and regional nature
