Job Description
The Perth IT Support role is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to all users within the region.
This position involves providing face-to-face assistance through our Tech Hub, supporting remote operations, and managing stock levels by leveraging Hardware Asset Management.
* Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries across Perth, providing both face-to-face and remote support
* Manage hardware assets and stock levels using a ServiceNow platform, ensuring accurate inventory and efficient deployment
* Support critical operations in the HIVE by troubleshooting desktop-level incidents and requests
* Ensure compliance with best practices, covering incident, request, change and problem management.
* Contribute to continuous improvement through identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements
Key Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in a similar technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment
* Proven experience in handling incidents, requests, changes, and problems according to ITIL practices
* Experience with Hardware Asset Management and maintaining IT stock levels
* Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices for effective service management
* Advanced problem analysis and problem-solving skills with Networking, Server & Storage, Microsoft 365, and hardware
* Proficiency in various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
