Role Description
This is a full time in office role for a Lawyer, based in Sydney, NSW. The Lawyer will provide legal counsel and representation on migration and education matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents
* Liaising with legal authorities
* Providing legal advice to clients
* Staying updated on changes in immigration and education legislation
* Guiding clients through legal processes and resolving complex cases effectively
Qualifications
* Robust legal drafting and documentation skills, including the ability to create, review, and manage legal agreements and filings.
* In-depth knowledge of migration law, education law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
* Effective research and analytical skills to interpret and apply legal statutes and regulations accurately.
* Client-focused communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving and negotiation skills to manage legal challenges and resolve disputes efficiently.
* Proficiency in managing case files and legal software tools.
* Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and valid Australian legal practicing certificate.
* Experience in immigration law or related fields is highly desirable.
* Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
