**About the Role** You will be a key member of the Risk, Audit, and Compliance team within Corporate Services. Your role as Assurance and Compliance Advisor will support, facilitate, and deliver risk, audit, and compliance framework-related activities. You will partner and consult collaboratively with business leaders at all levels across the organisation, to ensure the most effective outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver all aspects of internal controls, internal audit activities, risk reviews, and investigation activities across a range of strategic and operational initiatives.
- Support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and assist in due diligence, integrity, and compliance investigations
- Prepare assurance and risk management reports and be involved in data analytics and risk-based assessments.
- Consult on the organisation's growth agenda by identifying, assessing, and developing approaches to assure business risks are being effectively and efficiently mitigated.
**About You**:
- Minimum 3+ years of working knowledge and related experience in delivering audit and risk-based assurance activities and engagements across a broad range of enterprise-wide and or operational audits within fast-paced high-volume industry sectors/environments
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Part or full certification in Audit or Risk Management such as CA, CPA, CRM, or CIA
- A background in audit and or risk management, or investigations and or commercial fraud detection is well regarded
- A high level of attention to detail, coupled with superior presentation, communication, and analytical skills
- A lateral thinker with a solution-focused and consultative approach
- A self-starter and life-long learner, with a high level of resilience, emotional intelligence, and a flexible attitude
