About the role
The Clinical lead position provides coordination and acts as a resource to other health care professionals and services to enhance capability and knowledge of staff and enable delivery of optimal care.
Working in a small team of Nurses, Social Workers, Nurse Practitioner and Aboriginal Health Worker, the Clinical Lead works to minimise the harmful effects of substance use on consumers, by providing and maintaining a high standard of individualised client care through the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Service for people and their families.
The Clinical Lead will provide counselling and case management to young people aged years old, who are at risk due to their substance use, and providing support to the y person's family and/or care givers.
Hours of work are generally 8-4.30pm with flexible work arrangements are available.
