Assistant Company Secretary – Financial Services – Fund Management
An excellent prospect for an Assistant Company Secretary to join a leading global investment manager. This role supports and facilitates the effective running of Secretariat and corporate governance practices, ensuring Board and Committee processes operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate subsidiary Board and Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, resolutions and follow-up actions.
- Manage Board calendars and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timetables are met.
- Communicate with Board members and business areas regarding Board papers, meeting logistics and action items.
- Prepare and arrange execution and filing of company documents and statutory filings.
- Maintain company registers and respond to Know Your Client (KYC) requests for subsidiaries.
- Act as named Company Secretary for Australian private subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide assistance with Company Secretarial matters in other jurisdictions as required.
- Contribute to governance projects and Secretariat initiatives as directed.
About You
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Company Secretarial or corporate governance role, ideally within an APRA-regulated environment.
- Exposure to financial services, funds management or a similar regulated sector will be highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, with professional company secretary membership or studies preferred.
- Working knowledge of the Corporations Act and corporate compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communicator who can build effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Diligent Boards, SharePoint and Microsoft Office will be highly regarded.
